“I am taking your coffee machine this weekend” she said.
“OK” I said.
Then I thought “Fuck That!”, I am sick of this attitude towards me.
Anyone else I know would ask if they could borrow the Coffee machine from my office, not “I am taking”, for sure most people I know would have made a request, not a statement!
I then texted her to say “No you will not”.
If she had said “can I take your Coffee machine”, “may I borrow your Coffee machine”, “do you mind if I take your Coffee machine”, etc. – I would have said “Yes”.
I left my office the next day and knew that she would have no respect for my decision so I took the piece from my Coffee machine that holds the pods.
Sure enough, she went to take the Coffee machine anyway!
I got a text whilst I was at the gym asking for the piece that holds the pods. I said that I said “No” to her demand, not her request, her demand.
The abuse, I was expecting, flowed…
“You are mentally ill”.
“You should be in hospital”.
“You need help”.
“I am not going to with you (to England) for Christmas” – Flights I had paid for for her birthday, the main birthday present being a long layover in Amsterdam where her or our daughter had never been. By doing this, instead of having a one hour connection, I also chose to miss, maybe the only chance this season, to attend a Wolves home game.
“And, our daughter is not going either”.
I told her that I expected these responses to me standing up to her “demand”.
She also said “My parents and your parents will know as well” – About what I wondered!
Anyway, whilst I was not there, she took the Coffee machine from my office, without the piece that holds the pods and went on her weekend away with the girls.
She also stole 3 of my spare Glo electronic smoking device things from my office – Threatening to “play me at my game” – I suppose a it’s a game where she takes things and steals things from someone, whereas I do not!
One week later, she has not…
- Apologised for demanding that she is taking my Coffee machine, rather than asking
- Apologised for taking my Coffee machine from my office even though I said “No”
- Returned the Coffee machine
- Returned the 3 spare Glo electronic smoking devices she stole
loads more to come on this one – this is legendary – like wtf story did she tell her parents to then get a coffee machine from them for Xmas- if I told my parents the truth they’d have told me I was a psycho and to apologise but she gets a coffee machine!
